ROOTED IN OAKLAND
I'm a lifelong baseball junkie. Example: Road-tripping 20,000 miles in two months with my dad, who has Parkinson's Disease, to see a game at each of the 30 Major League Baseball parks together. The result was the award-winning documentary series, "Boys of Summer". It created the opportunity to work with my favorite team, the Oakland A's: I documented A's fan experiences as part of the team's #rootedinoakland campaign.
AWARD-WINNING, HOLLYWOOD FILM PRODUCTION
As a graduate of UCLA's screenwriting school, I spent the next six years in Hollywood honing my craft. I wrote and starred in two independent feature films, including Artisan Entertainment's "The Playaz Court". I then worked with Sony's Special Effects units, Image Works, on "Castaway" and "Hollow Man". Those experiences laid the foundation for my award-winning Directing, Producing and Editing work over the next two decades.

Alex Kajitani is a brilliant and funny math teacher - CA teacher of the year in 2009. We met while working together on Chicken Soup for the Soul's anti-bullying Hallway Hero program. After a few minutes of seeing him perform, I asked him about his teaching. We hit it off immediately and laid the plans for his program, Multiplication Nation. I directed his studio performance and helped shape his dynamic learning platform that will change the way kids master their times tables.

I wrote the scripts, interactivity and testing modules for their web-based training that will revolutionize the way student-athletes become and remain compliant with NCAA and OSU regulations.
